Pinot Gris, Trimbach "Hommage a Jeanne" 200o
This wine is somewhat confusing. I have read that it has 25 grams of dry extract and 20g/l rs. The best bottles are dry to dryish, focused and wonderfully complex. If there is one knock, its that they carry a common vintage trait: they are a little light in the middle.
The lesser bottles are portly, alcoholic and clumsy. This was one of those bottles.
